BIOGRAPHY

A dancer with immense potential bagged first prizes at all most all the state level competitions. She takes classes at Children's Little Theatre. Her dance and interviews have been telecasted by the local T.V. Channels. She has received National scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Kaberi has performed solo at Guru Pankaj Charan Das Festival at Bhubaneswar, Jhankar Music Circle's Annual Festival, Padatik Dance Centre and Udayashankar Dance Festival. A favorite disciple of Aloka Kanungo, Kaberi has also applauded by both the press & public for her memorable performances at U.S.A & France. She has also assisted her guru in direction & choreography, presently on quest for newer applications of Odissi dance through a fusion work with Kathak. Kaberi has choreographed many dance ensembles for children and recently worked with the mentally & physically challenged children in KAUTUK- a children soiree.

Kaberi has a bewitching stage presence and eloquent eyes. Her forte lies in the beauty in which she conducts the abhinayas. A dedicated performer and a student of dance in Rabindra Bharati University, Kaberi is a promising young artiste.
