BIOGRAPHY

Moumita Ghosh started learning Odissi dance from the age of 8 under the guidance of Smt. Madhavi Mudgal at the Gandharva Mahavidyala, New Delhi. A keen interest, study and practice of the style had helped her understanding the art form under her Guru’s supervision. She has also attended periodic Odissi workshops conducted by the late Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. Moumita has emerged as a promising young soloist of this style.
